TwisterTM
The GroundPlug Twister™ Series is installed quickly and easily with a battery-powered impact wrench and is used for small and large private construction projects, such as summer houses, annexes, sheds, carports, and decks.

PilexProTM
The GroundPlug PilexPro™ Series is installed with an excavator. The series is available in several dimensions and lengths, which can be extended up to 16m. Used for construction up to several floors and in poor soil conditions.

The universal GroundPlug SK and GP foundations are suitable for absorbing shear, moment as well as vertical pressure and tension.

HE
GroundPlug HE foundations are primarily used as the foundation for noise barriers, but can also be used for other project types.

Beam
GroundPlug Beam consists of several smaller steel foundations on which a beam system is mounted. The foundation can therefore be used for large design loads or in adverse soil conditions.

Project description

A former business partner invited GroundPlug® to Trinidad and Tobago to build smart and solid foundations for several signs. The particular challenges of this project were both the low bearing capacity of the soil and the high wind loads in the area. Here, GroundPlug® was able to develop a solid solution that met the high demands on the foundations.

Installation

The signs in Trinidad and Tobago stand on a hybrid system of two different GroundPlug® foundations. For this project, a GroundPlug® SK Beam structure was combined with 8 GroundPlug® TwisterTM foundations to provide the best possible load transfer. Although the GroundPlug® TwisterTM foundations used in this project were up to 9m long, they could be installed without any previous excavation work. This way, we achieved an easy and fast installation process.
