Beam

Noise barrier BregnerØd

Project description
After years of noise pollution from a nearby highway, a GroundPlug® noise barrier was built for the local residents in Bregnerod in 2019. As general contractor, we were responsible for the technical calculations, production and installation of the GroundPlug® foundations and noise barrier cassettes for the 4m high and 525m long noise barrier. The noise barrier now extends from a small lake near the highway bridge to a nearby forest, where the local residents can now take a walk without being disturbed by the noise of the highway.
Installation
The noise barrier in Bregnerod consists of aluminum cassettes with mineral wool and steel supports. About 70m of the noise barrier was installed with a transparent glass screen in the upper part.
In this project, we used our effective GroundPlug® HE foundations. Thus we could ensure a fast and precise installation process, where economic and time resources always were in focus.
