Steel Foundations PilexPro

GroundPlug® PILEX PROTM

GroundPlug® PILEX PROTM

GroundPlug® PilexPro™ is our heavy-duty contractor series of screw foundations for professional construction.

GroundPlug® PilexPro™-has been developed as a 100% customisable assembly series. The PilexPro™ screw foundation with spiral is available in four lengths, which can be installed directly with a selection of fittings or extended with extension pieces in four additional lengths.
Both the screw foundation and the extension pieces can also be cut to the desired height, simply by drilling new bolt holes for the coupling piece. This gives you a fully customisable foundation, where you can freely adjust the depth, height and position of the spiral in the ground to suit the soil conditions. We recommend this series for all soil types and sloping terrain. The GroundPlug® Pilex™ Series can be used for all construction projects up to 3 storeys, on difficult terrain and in challenging soil conditions.

TECHNICAL DATA

With PilexPro, you get a solution that is tailored precisely to your project. We have a wide range of products, allowing us to choose between different diameters and combine the screw foundation with extension pieces of any length to achieve the optimal solution for the project. Our engineers calculate exactly what your construction requires.

We limit delays

Because the foundation process is much faster and more efficient with screw foundations, the
risk of delays is reduced. Our PilexPro™ screw foundations have been developed as a highly flexible assembly series, which allows us to immediately resolve unforeseen issues on the construction site. This means that we do not need to leave a construction site without being able to deliver a completed foundation.
The PilexPro™ screw foundation system is designed to be used in combination with PilexPro™ pile foundations.

We help you access even the worst building locations

GroundPlug® foundations are an obvious solution for construction sites with poor soil or locations that are difficult to access. Our foundations can be installed using a small excavator, thereby avoiding the need tobring a large concrete truck onto the site.

Minimal clean-up at the construction site

Screw foundations cause minimal disruption on the construction site. Screw foundations do not generate any soil for disposal, so the time and costs involved in this are minimised. The only soil waste we produce is what we help you to remove, if necessary.

Tested, certified and approved for building damage insurance

Our foundations are ISO certified, CE marked, FEM analysed and field tested. And because our engineering team calculates construction projects, including all loads, in accordance with EuroCode, our screw foundations are among the few ones that are covered by building damage insurance.

INSTALLATION

GROUNDPLUG PILEXPRO CAN EITHER BE INSTALLED BY GROUNDPLUG'S COMPETENT INSTALLATION TEAM OR WE CAN SUPPORT YOU OR YOUR CONTRACTOR IN INSTALLING IT YOURSELF.

DOCUMENTATION

ALL STEEL FOUNDATIONS OFFERED BY GROUNDPLUG ARE BASED ON CALCULATIONS USING:

EN 1990, EN 1991-1-1, EN 1991-1-3, EN 1991-1-4,EN 1991-2, EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-3, EN, 1993-1-5,EN 1993-1-8, EN 1993-1-9, EN 1993-5, EN 1997-1,EN 1997-2, EN 1794-1.

ANALYTICAL CALCULATIONS & PRACTICAL TESTS:

  • ASTM Standard designation (ASTMD1143, ASTM D3689, ASTM D3966) for compression, tension and lateral load on individual piles. Performed by Applied Foundation Testing (AFT), USA, and CLTTHOMPSON INC, USA.
  • NIRAS capacity and soil calculations, verified by LPILE by Ensoft Inc.

Our engineering team can provide design documentation for any structure based on European design standards (Eurocodes 0-9) with applicable national annexes. Calculations can also be performed based on applicable American and Australian design standards.
