Project description
The highway at Køge Bay is one of the busiest roads in Denmark. In order to reduce noise pollution for residents in the nearby residential area, the local municipality has commissioned GroundPlug® to build a noise barrier on the southern side of the highway. The noise barrier is 570m long and 4m high and consists of steel columns on GroundPlug® foundations. The noise barrier itself consists of a concrete base and aluminum cassettes covered with wooden pillars.
Installation
This noise barrier stands on our innovative GroundPlug® HE foundations. The bolt connection of the foundations can be adjusted with +/- 70mm, which ensures a fast and precise installation process.
