TwisterTM
The GroundPlug Twister™ Series is installed quickly and easily with a battery-powered impact wrench and is used for small and large private construction projects, such as summer houses, annexes, sheds, carports, and decks.

PilexProTM
The GroundPlug PilexPro™ Series is installed with an excavator. The series is available in several dimensions and lengths, which can be extended up to 16m. Used for construction up to several floors and in poor soil conditions.

GroundPlug HE foundations are primarily used as the foundation for noise barriers, but can also be used for other project types.

Beam
GroundPlug Beam consists of several smaller steel foundations on which a beam system is mounted. The foundation can therefore be used for large design loads or in adverse soil conditions.

Noise barrier Svendborg

Project description

In order to reduce noise pollution for heavily affected residential areas along Sundbrovej, a noise barrier was built along the highway in Svendborg in 2015. At GroundPlug®, we were responsible for the construction of the 690m long and 4m high noise barrier. This noise barrier consists of aluminium cassettes clad with vertical wooden piles – a design that integrates naturally into the environment on both sides of the highway.

Installation

Our GroundPlug® HE foundations were used as foundations for the vertical steel columns in this project. These foundations are particularly suitable for a fast and effective installation of noise barriers, since the installation only requires minimal excavation work. The installation therefore saves resources and contributes to a sustainable construction process.
