Foundation for large horizontal loads
- A steel beam in HE profile (typically HEB/HEA) with extra wings on the sides, which is driven into the ground with a standard excavator.
- Unique bolt group and base plate with high adjustment for mounting the column.
- The columns for e.g. the noise barrier are mounted with threaded rods on the adjustable base plate.
- Any panels can then be mounted.

ANALYTICAL CALCULATIONS AND PRACTICAL TESTS:
- ASTM Standard Designation (ASTMD1143, ASTM D3689, ASTM D3966) of pressure, tension and horizontal load on single screw foundations. Performed by Applied Foundation Testing (AFT), USA, and CLTTHOMPSON INC, USA.
- NIRAS capacity and soil calculations, verified by LPILE by Ensoft Inc.
Our engineering team can provide design documentation for any structure based on European Design Standards (Eurocodes 0-9) and national annexes. Calculations can also be based on applicable American and Australian Design Standards.
