Project description
The highly secured Storstrøm prison in Denmark was opened in 2017. In order to prevent escape attempts by helicopter, special masts were installed for escape control. GroundPlug® did in this context install 16 GroundPlug® foundations for the 12m high masts.
Installation
The 12m high pylons for escape protection are mounted on our patented GroundPlug® GP foundations. These foundations have a shovel system that opens in the ground after installation , thus increasing the load-bearing capacity of the foundations. Our project at Prison Storstrøm has clearly benefited from this high load capacity foundation and the fast installation process.
